Carol Bragagnolo, known in her field as an innovative strategist, has over 20 years experience as an accomplished senior corporate and healthcare leader with extensive public, private and community sector experience. Her management acumen includes focusing on strategic, operational, clinical, recruitment, fund-raising and financial management strategies including building and implementing successful and collaborative partnerships and innovative marketing and business development techniques. Carol is a proven and resourceful leader through dynamic changes and challenges within all sectors. She has successfully developed, recruited and led teams of both internal and external stakeholders and consultants throughout multi-million dollar new and redevelopment projects. She is committed to her philanthropic undertakings and thrives on her personal approach to compassionate leadership and the sharing of her expertise is evident in her volunteer work within her community. Carol is affiliated with various organizations including healthcare, corporate, government, religious organizations, community agencies, fund-raising and others. Her spirit of innovation and attention to client concerns and unique project approaches is evidenced by her passion, energy, commitment, leadership, team-building and entrepreneurial acumen. She has led several teams through various project and operational start-up and management models encompassing approximately over half a billion dollars of development. She has also led marketing and business plan strategies for various profit and non-profit agencies. Carol has been selected as a MENTOR for the CCHSE (Canadian College of Health Service Executives) Fellowship Program – an association for the development and leadership of the health services management profession. She sits on the Executive Committee of the College. Her career and volunteer experience includes Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Sunnybrook & Women’s College Health Sciences Centre, Women’s College Hospital, The Orthopaedic and Arthritic Hospital, the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, Hospital for Sick Children, Capital Health Region, Salvation Army, Covenant House, Project Control Group Inc, PRISM Partners, IntraUrban Projects, the international design firm of Hellmuth, Obata and Kassabaum, The Anne Johnston Community Health Station, The Rose Cherry Home, and The Sisters of the Good Shepherd. Carol is the current Past Chair of the Board of The Anne Johnston Community Health Station and has participated in many activities and various roles within her own neighbourhood.
